Challenge yourself at this year’s Tough Turtle adventure obstacle race, a 5k designed to push your body, challenge your wit, and deliver the mud. Climb, sprint, crawl, paddle and slide through the course along the Cayuga Waterfront and Black Diamond Trails on the south shore of Cayuga Lake. We double dog dare you. Plus, you’ll be supporting the kids. All proceeds of the Tough Turtle support Ithaca Children’s Garden.

This year’s registration options:

• The Tough Turtle 5k Adventure Obstacle Race

The main event is a 5k race intended for tough turtles over the age of 10 or accompanied by a parent. The main race includes running/walking, obstacles, and a boating component. (Any part of the race can be bypassed if the participant so chooses).

• Tough Turtle Jr.

Our beloved Tough Turtle Jr is back to challenge and delight all children, designed for ages 10 and under.

• Field Day

New this year, our field day offers fun and games for the whole family. Enjoy these games before or after you take on the Tough Turtle, Tough Turtle Jr, or come to just enjoy this portion of the event while you are cheering on those racing.

*Registration for Tough Turtle, Tough Turtle Jr, or The Field Day comes with admission to the ICG Tough Turtle “after party”.

Adult 5k - Earlybird (May 24th - July 21st): $75

Adult 5k - Regular (July 21st - September 21st): $85

Adult 5k - Day of (September 21st): $95
